The mission of the event

• Designing the NIFTEM Pavilion for the smooth organization of the event
• Arrangement of the live demo for:

1. Jam, Jelly and Ketchup making etc.
2. Sorting, grading and value addition of vegetable like potato, onions, garlic etc.

 

Challenges Faced: The humongous task had to be completed in a record period of 5 days

 

The organizer of the Event

 

NIFTEM

NIFTEM is the brainchild of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI)Government of India. MoFPI in its Vision document-2015, envisaged the creation of a world-class institution to cater to the various stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, the food processing industry, exporters, policymakers, government and existing institution.

NIFTEM will work actively for assisting in setting up food standards, businesses incubation and can also include knowledge sharing. It would also be an apex institution

 

Ascent Role in the Event:

• Conceptualization designing of NIFTEM pavilion of International standards covering an area of 120 sq metres. (12 X 10 Mtrs).
• Construction of Theme Pavilion of NIFTEM. Thematic preparation included wall graphics, banners, posters, backlit posters, rollup banners, etc.
• Accommodation facilities included Reception, VIP Lounge (Six seated sofa & table) and a small store & Pantry.
• Provision of two Plasma TVs with DVD Player & one desktop computer with internet connection at the reception table.
• Provision of one receptionist and one attendant at the pavilion during expo/exhibition hours.
• A nodal person was required to assist the officer of NIFTEM in charge of the pavilion in the management and coordination of the entire event.
• To provide logistic support (travel/ Lodging/ Boarding/Conveyance arrangements to NIFTEM officers for attending the event, transportation of brochures to the venue etc.

 

Outcomes Achieved

• Completion of building the stall with front view, traffic flow view, back view, rooftop as planned on paper
• Successful organization of the event
